Welcome to Progressive Wellness MA. Practice founders Anthony Hamling & Aaron Slater have over 20 years of combined experience working with adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, and LGBTQIA+ issues. We know it can be uncomfortable and downright scary to talk about your thoughts and feelings, particularly to a stranger, but talking things out is the first step in making sense of your emotions. Maybe you just want to bounce some ideas off someone, maybe you want to make sense of your thoughts and emotions or maybe you have a goal in mind but you need an accountability partner. We're here for you. We believe that having someone you can trust, talk to and bounce ideas off of is one of the greatest building blocks of mental wellness. Information on our clinicians: Anthony Hamling, LICSW has been treating adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, and LGBTQIA issues for over 15 years. His treatment modality is focused on cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive psychotherapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. Anthony believes that mental wellness is a journey, and he will support you to help you achieve all of your personal wellness goals. Aaron Slater, LICSW has nearly a decade of experience supporting adolescents, adults, and families. Aaron uses a trauma-informed approach to create a safe holding environment to elucidate values, create compromise, and help move stories along.
